Please follow these basic rules.

2. No Spam
Do not flood the forum with:
- repeated posts
- irrelevant links
- mass promotions
- copy-and-paste advertising
- referral spam
- affiliate-link dumping
- unsolicited private messages
Self-promotion is fine when it is relevant to the discussion and actually useful. Do not turn every conversation into an advertisement.
3. Post in the Right Forum
Choose the forum that best matches your topic.
If a topic is posted in the wrong place, a moderator may move it.
Do not create the same discussion in several forums.
4. Use Clear Titles
Give your topic a title that tells people what the discussion is about.
Good:
Need help choosing hosting for a small ecommerce site
Not so good:
HELP!!!
Clear titles make the forum easier for everyone to search and use.
5. Don't Scam People
Fraud, phishing, fake opportunities, deceptive offers, pyramid schemes, and attempts to steal money, accounts, personal information, or credentials are prohibited.
If something sounds suspicious, report it.
6. Be Honest About Promotions and Affiliates
If you are recommending something because you own it, work for the company, or may earn money from the link, disclose that relationship.
Don't pretend to be an ordinary customer when you're promoting your own product or service.
7. No Illegal or Dangerous Content
Do not use Wares Point to organize, promote, or assist illegal activity.
Do not post malware, stolen credentials, pirated account access, malicious code, or instructions intended to compromise other people's systems.
8. Respect Privacy
Do not post someone else's private information without permission.
This includes things such as:
- home addresses
- private phone numbers
- passwords
- account credentials
- private messages
- financial information
- other sensitive personal information
Think before posting your own private information too.
9. Don't Impersonate People or Businesses
Do not pretend to be another member, company, public figure, moderator, or Wares Point staff member.
10. Keep Discussions Useful
Stay reasonably close to the topic.
Humor and casual conversation are welcome, but don't deliberately derail discussions or repeatedly post content that adds nothing to the conversation.
11. Don't Abuse the Reporting System
Use the Report feature when something genuinely needs moderator attention.
Do not report people simply because you disagree with them.
12. Respect Moderator Decisions
Moderators may:
- move topics
- close discussions
- remove spam
- remove inappropriate content
- restore content
- issue warnings
- restrict accounts when necessary
If you disagree with a moderation decision, contact the moderation team instead of turning the thread into an argument about moderation.
13. One Person, One Community
Do not create extra accounts to:
- evade moderation
- manipulate reactions
- support your own arguments
- spam
- impersonate other users
14. Use Common Sense
Not every possible situation can be covered by a written rule.
If something is clearly disruptive, deceptive, abusive, or harmful to the community, moderators may take action even if the exact behavior is not specifically listed above.
Help Keep Wares Point Useful
Wares Point works best when members share what they know, ask real questions, give useful feedback, and help each other make progress.
You do not need to be an expert to participate.
Be useful. Be respectful. Don't spam.
